Project: Smelly House
Background: Smelly House is a small business specializing in handmade soy candles and incense. While the brand exists primarily for the sale of these aromatic products, the owner has additional interests under the umbrella of home goods/ interior design(including furniture, accessories, and plants).
Project Goals: Smelly House needed a brand identity to market their physical goods while acting as a home for future creative endeavors. Arguably the most important aspect of the project would be designing every part of the product packaging for the first collection, while establishing guidelines and templates for future releases.
Key Notes: If the name didn't give it away, this visual identity was going to be a bit different than the average candle brand, which tend to err on the side of luxury and sophistication. The owner wanted Smelly House to feel lighthearted and unassuming, specifically citing a distaste for the trend of overly-minimal designs (aka "blanding").
Deliverables: Brand Identity, Product/Packaging, Social Media, Graphics/Visual Assets, Landing Page
